So way back in February we went into Calgary to the world of Wheels show. The boys were especially excited to go this time because Billy the Exterminator was going to be there. After waiting in line for a couple hours we finally met him (well I just took the pictures). The boys were so happy to actually see him in person because they love his show. They even pretend that they are Billy and Ricky and play exterminators after watching it. It was pretty cool I have to admit. While patiently waiting in line we checked out some of the cars. The boys were able to sit in a real race car and meet it's driver. It was a pretty fun evening!!Harker Happenings

Baby Ava
Sydnee's broken leg
So I just wanted to post a picture of Sydnee's broken leg because it was so cute. She had it on for a total of 6 weeks and man were we ever excited when it came off. Her poor leg under the cast was so dry and scaly. I had to rub it with baby oil and lotion. It took a couple of days but it was back to normal. You can tell she still favors the "good leg" when she crawls and stands but I think in no time she'll be used to being able to bend that leg.

O.k so it's been awhile since I've posted anything and a lot has happened. I'll start with Christmas. We had a great time. We spent Christmas Eve here at our own house then headed to Magrath on Christmas day where we spent 3 days. The best part was when the boys got their dirt bikes and quad. Man were they excited. Santa really went all out this year. We packed them up and took them with us to Magrath so they could get their first ride in on a clear parking lot. Mike and I got ourselves a new imac computer which is awesome and Sydnee, well she got a broken leg along with 2 lalaloopsy dolls and a baby stroller. Yes that's right a broken leg. Poor girl rolled off the couch (with a little help from Mason) onto carpet and broke the tibia bone. So she had a little red cast for her first Christmas. It really didn't seem to bother her to much though. She still army crawls around like crazy. Our Christmas was fun but went by so fast. We managed to get time in with family which is always the best part. We even had a weekend up in Edmonton at the Osazuwa's. Which was one big party, dancing party that is in their garage. The boys loved it. We went skating and enjoyed a turkey dinner too.
New Years was spent up in Red Deer at Rhonda and Denis's. Trying desperately to stay awake until midnight. Now that's the adults I'm talking about the kids were ready to party. We had a lovely steak and lobster dinner and watched a movie before cracking off our confetti and saying cheers at the stroke of midnight. It was a great holiday full of fun, family and friends.

Baby Food
So I knew Sydnee was ready to try some baby food when she would grab for things that we were eating and she'd be licking her lips. So I gave her some rice cereal and she loves it. I've also given her apples and pears which she also loves. She is now almost 6 months and I think she'll get some teeth pretty soon. It has been fun being able to make the baby food for her. I'm excited for her to get bigger and try new things but at the same time it makes me sad knowing she is my last baby. I want her to stay that way forever. I just try to enjoy every moment with her.
